Titan are through to the semi-finals of the ESEA S17 LAN Finals with a 2-0 victory over Denial (22-19 on de_inferno, 16-12 on de_mirage).

Starting off on the Counter-Terrorist side on de_inferno, Titan came out strongly and set the pace during the early stages of the first half, but a good response from Denial as the game wore on saw the North American side take five rounds before half-time.

In the second half, Denial got off to a great start and picked up the first three rounds to reduce the deficit to 8-10. Titan were then unfortunate to lose the bomb in the moto spot in A, which allowed Denial to gain control of the money situation and eventually equalise the game on ten rounds.

Great individual actions from Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez and Kenny "kennyS" Schrub saw Titan take the score to 13-10 in favour of Titan, but Denial refused to throw in the towel and won five rounds on the trot to get inches away from victory. However, Titan's experience proved the key in this clash as they secured the next two rounds to take the match to overtime, in which they would come out victorious with a scoreline of 22-19.

Both teams then moved on to de_mirage, Titan's choice, and as expected the Frenchmen got off on the right foot, winning the first four rounds of the map. Denial then turned things around and took a 7-5 lead, but Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans's men secured the last three rounds to go into the break with a narrow lead.

Denial were left stunned at the beginning of the second half as Titan won the first five rounds, but an impressive ace from Keith "NAF" Markovic kept the North American team in the race. Damian "daps" Steele's troops would close the gap to just one round at 12-13, but Titan kept their composure and picked up three rounds in a row to walk away with a 16-12 triumph.
